About This Novel

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Ever since I was little, I have never eaten good food. Looking at the exquisite mooncakes in the window, I finally felt generous. I bought three mooncakes, ate one, and took the remaining two home to visit my parents. My dad knew that a piece of mooncake was 98%, and he was so angry that he picked up the bench and threw it at me. My mother also cried and complained to me, "Your brother needs money to buy a house and a car, and to marry a wife. If you don't help save the gift money, why are you spending so lavishly?" I smiled bitterly. I have worked hard all these years, and all the money I earned has been handed over to them. My father is idle, my younger brother is causing trouble at school, and my mother doesn't have a job. I am responsible for all the family expenses. Later, feeling disheartened, I left home and returned to the city where I worked. A family of three came to me and found out that I really had cancer, and they started asking me for help. But I knew it was because my brother couldn't pay off his debts that his family took an interest in me.
