About This Novel

This novel unfolds in two main lines. The odd-numbered chapters tell the story of the protagonist Rebecca's entire holiday life. Multiple chapters use flashbacks to show the process of father Lu Yong's rock music career in the three years before Rebecca's vacation. The final two chapters bring these two very different lives together to a single point. It shows the different confusions, confusions, hesitations, struggles and choices of the two generations of father and son in the same era.
