Even after losing all his teeth, Liu Sanqian's skin dealer Lao Qiao could still clearly describe the state of Liu Sanqian's condition when he walked into Dachupo. Liu Sanqian's back was bare, and he was carrying a luggage roll. Originally, the luggage roll was wrapped with a piece of plastic sheet, but the long journey left him no time to clean it up, so that the plastic sheet flew behind him like a broken white flag, and the rotten bedding was soaked by the rain. Liu Sanqian was wearing ragged trousers, and his shoes had a toad's mouth open. Behind him were two boys, both of whom were in tatters. Their rain-stained hair looked like two clumps of autumn grass. Lao Qiao, a leather dealer, came out of Lu San's house with a yellow dog skin under his arm and the dog's tail hanging out from under his old raincoat. Lao Qiao stopped in the rain and looked at these three people, guessing that they were refugees from outside. Liu Sanqian reached the three-way intersection and stopped walking, standing numbly in the rain.
