"Teahouse" is Lao She's representative drama collection, which includes his famous dramas "Teahouse" and "Longxugou" and the children's drama "Treasure Ship". "Teahouse" is a classic in the history of Chinese drama, created in 1956. Through a teahouse called Yutai, the play shows the social changes in the three eras of the Reform Movement of 1898, the warlord war, and the eve of the founding of New China for nearly half a century, as well as all the living beings in this society. There are dozens of characters appearing in the play, but all of them have distinct personalities.
