In 1938, the Japanese army made a surprise attack on Guning Port. Underground party member Ouyang Shanchuan relied on Si Daofeng, an urban proletarian from a gang, to form the anti-Japanese organization "Si Dao Feng". During this period, we experienced the most difficult two years behind enemy lines during the Anti-Japanese War. Until 1945, when the Japanese army, which was already defeated, arrested laborers to build the airport, the "Si Dao Feng" organization for the first time fought together to regain Guning without any distinction between parties and classes. This book creates four characters with great personalities: Ouyang Shanchuan, Si Daofeng, He Moxiu, and Long Wenwen, describes the soul purgatory they experienced during the eight-year war of resistance, and creates the legend of a group of unknown civilians who risked their lives to die.

After watching the TV series, I read this book again and saw that a group of characters with different origins and backgrounds formed an anti-Japanese group in Guning for the great cause of the nation and fought the enemy to the death for seven years. Although the enemy was driven out of the country, many people died and could not see the joy of victory. But no matter what, people can't give up hope
Everyone is his own hero. We will always attract the attention of thousands of people at some point in our lives. During the Anti-Japanese War, how many heroes like Ouyang Shanchuan were silently dedicated? Although they were unknown, they still persisted.
Before the national crisis, people put aside personal grudges and partisanship, just to protect their homes, fight for their motherland, and fight for countless families
So well written, so well written.
Lan Xiaolong's classic work is a must read.
In that special era, faced with internal and external troubles and national crises, there were many people wearing commoners who jumped out to protect their motherland, and many organizations like Sidaofeng were established.
It's a really good book, but it's too sadistic and cruel. In the past few months, I have read dozens of books on QQ Reading, and this book made me shed the most tears.
