"Journey to the West" was written in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. It is one of the four famous classics in ancient China and the pioneer of ancient Chinese romantic novels about gods and demons. The novel mainly tells the story of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Monk and White Dragon Horse during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, who protected Monk Tang in his journey to the West to obtain scriptures. After going through eighty-one hardships, he finally reached the West and obtained the scriptures. This book praises the valuable spirit of the four masters and apprentices, mainly Sun Wukong and Tang Monk, who are not afraid of hardships and perseverance, and deeply embodies the theme of punishing evil and promoting good.
