Director Zhu Yibin of the Yima Town Police Station was eating mutton dip at a mutton stall in the town when he overheard several diners telling the story of Wang Yidao, the butcher in Yixi Village. They said that Wang Yidao had an unfortunate life. His ex-wife died in a car accident, leaving behind two underage children. The mother-in-law sent her sister-in-law to take care of her brother-in-law's life and the food and clothing of their two children. Later, Wang Yidao married his sister-in-law. Wang Yidao's life should have been happy now, but misfortunes came one after another. First, the second son left by his ex-wife died of leukemia, and then a few years later, the eldest son left by his ex-wife disappeared inexplicably. It has been more than ten years now, and there is no news at all. No one is seen alive or dead.
