About This Novel
This so-called "thinking machine" described by Jack Futrell is short, pale, with thick yellow hair, a pair of aqua eyes under thick lenses, and a genius professor with more than ten honorary titles. Van Dusen firmly believes that rational and logical thinking can solve all reasoning problems in the world. His catchphrase is 2+2=4, and he is characterized by being rude and impolite. His advantage is that he can always tell the truth in one sentence when you are confused. "Cell 13" tells the story of how a professor imprisoned on death row escapes with almost no tools.
