Murder on the Orient Express
About This Novel
On November 10, "Murder on the Orient Express" was put on the big screen again after 43 years, starring Kenneth Branagh, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp and many other top actors. In 1974, Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar for the film of the same name adapted from the book, and the Queen of England attended the premiere of the film. This book is based on the sensational real-life case "The Kidnapping of Lindbergh's Sons" in 1932, which vividly demonstrates the author's profound skill in portraying group portraits. Detective Poirot completed a commission in Syria and wanted to return home on the Simplon Orient Express. The strange thing is that it seems that people all over the world choose to travel on that night, and it is hard to get a ticket for this luxury train, which always has ample berths. Fortunately, he met his good friend Mr. Booker, the director of the International Bus Company, and then he squeezed into the car. After midnight, a heavy snowfall forced the Simplon to stop. Early the next morning, everyone discovered that one passenger was missing. An American died in his box, stabbed twelve times, but the door to his box was locked. As the investigation deepened, the case seemed to become more complicated and confusing. Detective Poirot came up with two completely different explanations...

perfect murder
Halfway through reading this book, I only felt that the lady who shouted that there was a man in her room was the murderer. The thief shouted to catch the thief, but there was no reason. I doubted Michelle. His testimony seemed innocent, but he was the one who could freely enter the guest room, but there was no evidence. I also doubted the princess, but The doctors said she was too weak to stab her so viciously. When I saw about two-thirds of the scene, the scarlet pajamas were in the detective's bag, I doubted everyone. But then I was right. Wow, the reasons given by the detective were really intertwined. Everyone had an alibi but everyone was the murderer. It was amazing.
hehe
Murder on the Orient Express has just been released, would you mind tampering with the story now?
warmth
Although the whole story is about solving a crime, it has a tight rhythm and contains clues. The color presented is not violent and lustful, but has a hint of warmth.
To be honest, there is really a big difference between the first and second articles. When you mark the character's room number on the paper, when you carefully ponder each person's testimony, when you look at the "redundant" description, then you have entered the "game". It is undeniable that the undisputed Poirot cannot escape his glasses even in small details. It is comparable to Sherlock Holmes. She is really the queen of mystery novels, really. I admire her!
I feel that the ending is good. Sometimes the law still cannot defeat human feelings, and the guilty person should get the punishment he deserves.
I can guess the beginning, but I can't guess the ending.
Twelve murders, nobles and gentlemen from various religions, all from different religions, implemented a seemingly perfect plan for a common goal... I lamented the author's exquisite conception and unconstrained creativity~ Good and evil are finally clear, but why do evildoers always take the lives of too many innocent people... Life...
There is also an episode of Celebrity Detective based on this
There will be a new movie version in November. Looking forward to it After watching the trailer that day, I specially came to watch it again~
12 accomplices, beyond imagination.

He gradually reveals Castelnet's true identity and the people he has harmed, including family and friends of his victims. Through careful analysis of evidence and eyewitness testimony, Poirot ultimately reveals the truth. It turns out that multiple passengers teamed up to kill Castlenet, each with their own motives. If there is any female writer who deserves to be proud of women all over the world, Agatha is definitely one of them. Agatha is the writer whose works have been translated the most in the world (second only to Jules Verne). What an achievement this is. I remember watching Murder on the Orient Express when I was very young. Its completely unexpected and incredible ending shocked me for a long time. Whether you are a mystery fan or not, you must not miss Agatha's works.

A suspense mystery novel with good conception and reasoning.

A classic mystery novel, but spoilers are prohibited. At the beginning, I directly spoiled the answer to the mystery because of someone else's words. As a result, I waited seven or eight years before reading this book in order to forget the spoilers. In the end, the impact of the spoilers was too deep 😂 So spoilers are prohibited, and of course asking people for spoilers in posts is also not allowed. In a detective novel, what's the point of telling you the murderer directly? It's better to just check the surveillance camera and see the crime scene.
