In May 1932, a huge theft occurred at the residence of Ningxia warlord Ma Hongkui. The security check caused a sensation in the five northwest provinces and was called "the first robbery case in the northwest" by the news media at the time. It had already been formed in 1930 when the "Qin'an Treasure Theft Incident" occurred. In order to give readers a complete understanding of the "No. 1 Robbery in the Northwest", this chapter first explains the "Qin'an Treasure Stealing Incident" created by Ma Hongkui - in the spring of 1930, the conflict between the Guangxi warlord Li Zongren and Chiang Kai-shek intensified, and a war broke out.
