A few months after World War II ended, Miles Hammond received his first dinner invitation to the Murder Club in five years. When he arrived, however, only Barbara Morel and Professor Ligo were present. Professor Ligo told them the story of Fay Seaton. Faye is a young woman who works for the Brooke family. The Brooke family are British people living in the French suburbs. Fay fell in love with and got engaged to Harry, the Brooke couple's only son, but there were rumors that she had an affair and had bad moral integrity. Mr. Brooke Sr. Decides to bribe Fay with money to get her to leave Harry. But on the day of the meeting, he was found dead on the top of the ruined tower where they had agreed to meet, with fatal stab wounds to his back. The strange thing is that it was impossible for anyone to approach him at the scene of the crime. Could the murderer be Fay? A few years later, Faye reappeared, and wherever she went, she was always surrounded by curses and death. Dr. Gideon Fell and Professor Ligo came to find her traces, intending to warn people of her danger. However, the tragedy started with a gunshot in the middle of the night and slowly kicked off...
