About This Novel

In the "Stag Academy", the oldest private aristocratic school in England, students of noble birth form a small group called the "Medieval Knights". They are aloof, and almost all students are proud to be favored by them. Greer, the daughter of a civilian photographer and a scholarship girl, feels out of place here. Halfway through the semester, she received a mysterious letter and was invited to go on vacation to the country mansion of the most popular and powerful aristocratic student Henry Dewrencourt in Hart Academy. The theme of the holiday was hunting. This surprised and excited her. Most of the invitees were members of the "Knights", with only three exceptions: Greer, Chanel, a girl from a family of technological upstarts, and Shafin, the son of an Indian prince. There were no adults in the mansion except for a group of frighteningly obedient servants. Henry was hard to fathom. His friends act strangely. The atmosphere quickly turned weird. The three guests who are not members of the "Knights" gradually realize that the object of hunting may not be the beast, but themselves. And their only way to survive is to resist...
