The book "Remembering History: Oral Historical Records of the Japanese Army's Landing in Pinghu and Invasion" uses the perspective of journalists to interview hundreds of elderly people in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province who have experienced this period of history. From them, the oral historical records of 70 elderly people were selected and compiled into a document, which is the main part of this book. In addition, there are articles and historical pictures from local history researchers in Pinghu City, which are divided into three parts: oral history, written history, and illustrated history. The book is prefaced by Zhu Linsen, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of Zhejiang Province, and Ding Yuefei, deputy director of the Provincial Archives Bureau. Xiao Ruping, associate professor of the History Department of Zhejiang University, serves as a historical consultant.
