Princess Wencheng

I am a history student, and I have seen many people saying that Princess Wencheng's status was very low, not as good as Princess Chizun, and not favored. Let me mention here that Princess Wencheng's status is not low. Princess Chizun does not exist in the official history. I asked the professor about this issue, and the professor said, "At that time, the Tang Dynasty was a world-famous economic and cultural center, rivaled only by ancient Rome, and Princess Chizun in Nepal had no sense of existence even if she existed." Due to the pressure from the Tang Dynasty, he had to be good to the princess. Secondly, not only did Songtsen Gampo respect him extremely, the Tibetan people also respected him extremely. Regarding their love, it really makes people wonder. Songtsan Gampo built so many buildings for her, and Wencheng did not leave after Songtsen Gampo died. I think it was love after all. Even if she didn't love Wencheng, it would not be miserable. She contributed a lot to the Tang Dynasty and Tubo. I think she was a woman with a lot of personality, even though she lived in a feudal dynasty.

Princess Wencheng is undoubtedly very great as a marriage princess and a very outstanding woman, but as a woman, she is not lucky enough.

I know very little historical data about Princess Wencheng. I remember when I was in elementary school, I learned an article about Princess Wencheng entering Tibet. Song Zan learned that the emperor of the Tang Dynasty had a daughter who was well educated, courteous and intelligent, so he sent ministers to the Tang Dynasty to propose marriage. The emperor of the Tang Dynasty did not agree immediately, but tested the minister's wisdom and talent. Find out the mares of one hundred ponies from one hundred ponies, and identify the real Princess Wencheng among five hundred princesses dressed the same. When the emperor of the Tang Dynasty saw that the Tubo ministers easily solved the problem, he immediately thought that the Tubo leader was even smarter and agreed to Songtsan's proposal. Princess Wencheng passed by a place called Luna and built a wooden bridge. Later it was called Inland Bridge. When the princess crossed the bridge, she met a bird and said there was a swamp here, so the princess scattered wool all over the ground. Since then, the cattle and sheep in this place have become fat and strong. When we arrived at a place called Youlong, a bad crow told the princess that Songtsan was dead. It was like a bolt from the blue. The princess was sad for a long time, built a stone house for Songtsan, and carved a blood book to commemorate Songtsan. The hair on the right side became fluffy. Later, the woods there were always sparse in the north and dense in the south. Fortunately, the sacred bird swan flew by and told the princess that Songtsen was alive and healthy, so the princess happily set off for Tibet. God's test for the princess was not over yet. When the mountains blocked her way, she carried them away. Naiba Mountain is where the footprints of the princess's hard work back then were left. After all the setbacks and ups and downs along the way, Princess Wencheng finally went to Tibet and married Songtsen in Tubo and lived a happy life. Wencheng is a great legendary woman who traveled thousands of miles to the cold Tubo, brought friendship to the mainland, developed economic exchanges with Tubo, brought wealth and warmth to the people of Tubo, and achieved the highest value for Chinese national culture.
