Pat Ruger is a retired police detective from Denver, Colorado. This time he temporarily put down his detective work and traveled to New York, where he met his ex-fiancée Amanda. Amanda is investigating a case on behalf of the FBI, and Pat decides to join. A local tribal leader was murdered, and as the case progressed, they fell step by step into a quagmire of kidnapping, missing witnesses, violence and conspiracy, unable to escape... - The author Jack Huber now lives in Colorado. His talent for detective/decryption/crime/thriller themes has been fully demonstrated in the "Detective Ruger Series" (three volumes of this series have been published, and the fourth volume is currently being written). The author has published several collections of poetry and photography, and is also a staff writer for Poetry Monthly magazine.
