About This Novel

Therefore, you must not watch movies before reading classics. It will seriously disrupt your thinking when reading classics. It has been a long time since I read a book in one sitting. The Chinese version of The Shawshank Redemption is full of the tenacity and tension of life. In that special era, the individual life was so small and yet so great!
Just like Xuefeng asked Yanshi why you came back. Yan Shi said that without her (Wanyu), he would not come back. Yan Shi was happy at that time. The family life that Lu Yanzhi tried his best to escape when he was young has become the ultimate dream he pursues in his later years. He never pays attention to the group relationship between individual existence and society and family, and when he understands all this, time does not give him more time.
After reading the entire novel, I always felt a sense of injustice in my heart. Because of that era, because of Lu Yanshi, because of Feng Wanyu, and this love may be caused by a common disease that I suffer from in this era. People of different generations cannot really think about things of the same generation, let alone criticize right and wrong, let alone right and wrong. If a person does not have hope and faith in his heart, he will not have confidence in life. Feng Wanyu's state of mind is the best evidence. The restlessness and utilitarianism of today's era make the author end with Lu Yanshi leaving without saying goodbye, leaving readers with lingering thoughts.
