Reflection of Colombia
by Mu Xin
About This Novel
"Reflection of Columbia" is Mu Xin's first simplified Chinese version of his work. It selects 13 essays that best express Mu Xin's writing style, such as "September 9th", "Reflection of Columbia", and "Shanghai Fu". The full text of the "Mu Xin's Prose Symposium" was launched on May 9, 1986 by the supplement "East-West Wind" of New York's "China News".

My boss has read the book, so I must read it.
"The bowl floated flat on the water in the rapid rotation, like a small lotus leaf with a broken stem, floating and bobbing, getting farther and farther behind the boat..." Helpless, yet poetic.
I searched all over the county but couldn't find Mu Xin's books for sale. I even asked the shopkeeper, but he didn't know who Mu Xin was. What a pity.
The first reading of Reflections of Colombia was heavy, congested, and slow. But if you read it once and want to put it down, then in fact you just worked as a road builder, and you just worked hard, but you never expected the beautiful scenery you would see when you raised your head. You must do a second reading. This time, you will appreciate the beauty of walking. Think about it, you look up and see the clouds in the sky, look down and see the golden scales swimming in the pool, the breeze sings softly in your ears, and there is no dust in your heart. What a state this is! What a treat! Moreover, if you are willing, Mu Xin can also lead you to shuttle between the East and the West, ancient and modern times, childhood, adulthood and old age. He can take you to Mogan Mountain to enjoy the bamboo show , read love letters in an empty room, sit on the streets of Manhattan and listen to the drums of Lincoln Center. He has just introduced you to the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove" to talk about beauty, and then turns around and pushes you to "The Rooted Wanderer" Milan Kundera to play "Two Sonatas" together... You will sigh, Mu Xin knows so many people and knows so many things. His ability to combine these people and things and explain them slowly is so good! Moreover, Mu Xin is such a considerate person. If you get tired from walking with him, he will kindly say to you - No more walking tomorrow.
The first reading was heavy, congested and slow.
My liking for Mr. Mu Xin stems from a once upon a time slow song
Mu Xin's writing skills are very profound, great book!
After reading the first paragraph, you will know that this is the writing style of Mr. Mu Xin
Good book, worth reading
The lyrical prose written by Mu Xin is the best in my opinion!
