About This Novel

This book is the death chapter of Bi Shumin's "Si Xian Tan". Bi Shumin, a former physician, has never stopped thinking about "death and life". I hope these words can inspire more readers to face death and cherish the present. Thinking may not give us the ultimate answer, but it will gradually help us understand how to face ourselves, others, and the world with awe and gratitude.

It is said that the degree of discussion of death can reflect the development of a civilization. In my surroundings, "death" is an "unlucky" thing - which is really funny: thinking that no matter what you do, this life will have an "unlucky" ending, it feels like the whole life is dark. In this book, the author discusses death based on his personal experience and also introduces some foreign practices, which is very innovative. Unfortunately, due to space limitations, it is not detailed and in-depth enough.

It's fascinating. It was very difficult for me to read it. It's not that the writing is not good, but it's so well written that it's so refreshing. In the first half, I felt the same every time I saw a paragraph. I couldn't control my emotions , so I had to force myself to put it down and read it again after a while. When I entered the book again with a calmer heart, I seemed to have realized something. Worth collecting!

The two forms of human beings are alive with a body, otherwise only the body and soul are left! If you think about the regret of the end of your life while you are alive, you will not be able to experience freedom in the process of living. Is it worse than the soul that has passed away? People should be free to live the happiest melody and feel happiness every time. I think an ideal epitaph should not deviate too much from this truth.

I still don't like her books very much, and I don't know why they are still so famous.
