A famous professor from Hong Kong travels across three continents, Europe, America and Asia, looking for his hometown in travel and food. Zheng Peikai has lived in Taiwan for 20 years, in the United States for 30 years, and now in Hong Kong for 15 years. Where is his foreign country and where is his hometown? For him, it is both ambiguous and paradoxical, both real and illusory. Most of these nearly one hundred articles are based on the author's experiences of traveling around, tasting food and delicacies in the past ten years, and recording the local customs and characteristics. In foreign countries and food, the author is searching for the memory of his hometown, consciously or unconsciously.
