About This Novel
The Danu River, also known as the Blackwater River (upper reaches), Lu River (middle reaches), Salween River, etc., Has a total length of more than 3,200 kilometers and a drainage area of 325,000 square kilometers. It originates from the southern foothills of the Tanggula Mountains in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, my country, and flows into the Indian Ocean near Maumeintam, Thailand. It flows through some regions and counties in my country's Tibet Autonomous Region, as well as Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Baoshan City, Dehong Prefecture in Yunnan Province, etc. It flows for about 1,540 kilometers in my country and has a drainage area of 120,000 square kilometers. The upper and middle reaches of the Danu River are mostly plateaus and high mountains. The peaks on both sides of the river are tall and steep, thus cutting into high mountains and deep valleys. Especially in the middle reaches of the Nu River, Gaoligong Mountain and Biluo Snow Mountain tower into the clouds, with an average depth of more than 2,000 meters. The highest peak, Gawagapu Peak, is 5,128 meters above sea level, and the lowest altitude is only 738 meters. The Manyun River in Shangjiang, Lushui County, forms the world's Oriental Grand Canyon with high rapids, majestic and thrilling waters. It is comparable to the Colorado Grand Canyon in the United States, or even better.
