Pray for Buddha
by Stony Ground
About This Novel
If I kneel down to beg you, can you look back at me again. If blood flows from my feet into a river, will you feel any heartache? If I sob and cry, will you have any pity. You smiled at her, your smile as warm as the brightest sunshine in winter. And those smiles are my faith in life. I stand under the cherry blossom tree and watch all the brilliance converge on you. You are riding bicycles on the road covered with phoenix trees. Through the car window, I see the fragments of sunlight shining on you. You won't look back and see me alone behind you. I lowered my head and urged the driver to drive faster, but I couldn't help but look back at you. She is the only one in your life and you will ignore everyone for her. And I am just an outsider, no matter how hard I try, I am still an outsider.
