About This Novel
Lin Hengyuan, who served in the national government, was ordered to evacuate to Taiwan in advance. Before leaving, he sent his adjutant to go south to Guangdong to take the children of his family who settled in Mei County to Taiwan via Hong Kong. While riding in Guangzhou, his five-year-old daughter Lin Lifang (later renamed Zhang Lili) was unfortunately separated. He was later adopted by a couple who fled to Hong Kong. More than ten years later, Zhang Lili became a dancer. After being seduced by a Hong Kong boss, she kept him for a long time. At a dinner party, Zhang Lili met Taipei manager Lin Xiangqi. Because her appearance was similar to that of her sister, he recalled that his mother had told him about his sister who was separated in Guangzhou thirty years ago.
