About This Novel
This novel starts from the beginning of the last century, when the protagonist was born in Beijing, a prominent royal relative, and ends at the beginning of this century, when the protagonist's only daughter writes a masterpiece that accumulates the wishes of three generations of her ancestors in her ancestral home. The ups and downs of a whole century are reproduced in literature through the joys and sorrows of the Lu family. His writing style is in the same vein as Lin Peifen's historical novels: grand and delicate. However, historical novels present grandeur with finesse, while "Old Dream" has grandeur with fineness.

People who read this book always feel heavy. Lu Tianen went from being cowardly, incompetent and irresponsible, causing a lot of harm to others, to working on his own to understand the world, which is the most comforting thing.
