About This Novel

There was no calm night, and it all had to do with what she had done. Guilt and self-blame spread like greedy weeds to every part of her life. Joanna likes to escape and never takes the initiative to make decisions. She didn't know what she wanted, often changed her job ideals, and hid her bank statements under her bed, pretending to ignore them. On an ordinary night, Joanna went home alone, and footsteps came from the silent night road behind her. Her heartbeat was racing, and her body was crawling with fear that she might be violated. Just as the footsteps were approaching, she turned around and pushed hard. The person following her stumbled down the steps and lay motionless on the ground. Face or escape? Tell the truth or hide it with lies? Joanna has to make a choice, and that's what she hates most.

Joanna has always been avoiding the idea of making choices in her life, including the fact that it basically never stops and happens every day, but until this day, she really can't escape because this is a living life.

Now is the best time to help Joanna make a choice and stop her from escaping. I can only say that she is still very conflicted, but I think she will have uneasy conscience if she doesn't say it out loud.
