Since childhood, Zygmunt has followed Uncle Adam in collecting historical witnesses in his hometown, tracing back the lost time in Mazury, using memory to resist forgetfulness, and using evidence to understand the past and himself. However, as the artillery fire of war and the iron hooves of the Nazis get closer and closer, the people of Masuria are forced to go into exile and travel far away... When the homeland becomes a distant place, when the memory loses its witness, how should we return to our hometown, and how should we defend our memory?
