Does it feel like this novel takes place in the Republic of China? There is a musty feeling wafting out...
Is this meant to tell people that this is a piece of resentment about love? Judging from the characters in the book, Yi Nan was adopted by the Jiang family because her father died while blocking a gun for the old man of the Jiang family. In ten years, she grew from a little girl to a big girl. She was the eldest brother of the Jiang family, but in the eyes of the world, only the second brother was the most suitable for her. Yi Nan struggled, but her eldest brother didn't respond, so she gave up and allowed her eldest brother to lead her down the marriage aisle, and then handed her over to her second brother. Then the two of them went abroad to continue their studies together, leaving the eldest brother to suffer silently here... The eldest brother thought that this arrangement was the best for Yi Nan, but he never thought about whether this was what Yi Nan wanted. As the days passed, the two seemed to be drifting apart.
