About This Novel

Ci is a poetry style that matches emerging music. It is also called "quci", "Qinqu", "Yuefu", "Shiyu", etc. Because the sentence patterns of Ci are different in length, it is also known as "long and short sentences". The words are filled in according to the tune, and the tune has a tune name, also known as the "word brand name". Each tone is generally divided into two chapters, called "upper piece" and "lower piece", or "upper line" and "lower line". There are also long tunes divided into three or four pieces. The formation of Ci has gone through a long process from folk to literary creation. It is generally believed that Ci was conceived in the late Southern and Northern Dynasties and emerged during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. After the Mid-Tang Dynasty, there were more and more literary creations, and the late Tang and Five Dynasties became increasingly prosperous.
