About This Novel

"Okura One Hundred Poems" is a collection of classical Japanese songs compiled by Fujiwara Sadaie, a singer from the Kamakura period in Japan. The selected works were compiled by each of 100 Japanese authors from the 7th century to the 13th century. After I translated each Japanese song into vernacular, I created another Qijue to interpret it. Therefore, this book can also be read as a collection of seven-character quatrains.
