This book is the research result of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Planning Fund Project of the Ministry of Education in 2012 (project approval number: 12YJA770052). It is a theoretical monograph on local history. Sichuan Pao Ge spread throughout the southwest and northwest regions, especially during the Republic of China. The academic community has achieved some research results on the history of Sichuan Pao Ge, but the research is not comprehensive and in-depth enough. Pao Ge plays a very important and complex role in China's modern history. The book consists of seven chapters, introducing Sichuan Pao Ge and Sichuan Pao Ge characters in the late Qing Dynasty, the Revolution of 1911, the period of warlord rule, the Anti-Japanese War, and the War of Liberation.
