"General History of China" was originally called "General History of China by Lu" and was divided into the first volume (1940, Kaiming Bookstore) and the second volume (1944, Kaiming Bookstore). It is now combined into one volume, divided into the upper part and the lower part. The upper and lower volumes together constitute a complete and concise exposition of the overall picture of Chinese history and culture. Eighteen chapters on special topics and thirty-six chapters on overview, covering the changes in Chinese culture and times.
