About This Novel
Listen to me, friend. Never go to the town of Jerusalem, regardless of how quaint the church spires are and how quiet the streets are. And don't walk into the endless cornfields, where a group of children are hiding, worshiping a god made of corn. And don't clean out an unused basement just to make a little money; there may be a basement beneath it. Don't go out for a walk in the strawberry spring, don't approach the parking lot next to the highway, don't envy the boy whose eyes are illuminated by love, don't fall in love with the person who understands all your needs, don't expect someone to catch you when you fall off the ladder... And don't talk to me in a wheelchair, I am just a door, those eyes hidden under my bandages are about to wake up.
