What I wrote above is indeed very attractive, with a chain-linked and erroneous beginning. Starting from when Zhu Huan had a mysterious ring, Li Yong encountered many strange things and almost lost his life. Later, the ring was lost, and then he came back. The cat was just a terrifying image created to divert everyone's attention. The murderer was indeed very smart. He killed Mrs. Huang who stole the ring and then came back to kill Zhu Huan. The ending of the story was so nonsense that I couldn't understand it. Is Zhou Dazhuang really that good at digging holes? And is Jiang Qi faking it or is he really sick? How Zhou Dazhuang died in the end was not made clear, but having said that, Li Yong was really a coward. He guarded the grain store and the thieves were so scared that they almost peed their pants twice. He was afraid of his wife and the lunatic named Jiang Qi. In the end, he was defrauded of money by two charlatans. I was really drunk.
The story of the Cat with Nine Lives is very suspenseful. Ignoring some of the dreaming plot, the story is actually quite good and the ending is clearly explained. This one is better than the ones I read before called Abnormality and Paper Man.
