Looking Forward to the Spring Breeze
by Ge Fei
About This Novel
Ruli Zhao Village is a simple and picturesque village in the south of the Yangtze River. It is said that its ancestors are from a high-profile family that has been around for generations. Here, it seems that even the biggest secrets can be kept. Zhao Boyu has never seen his mother since he was a child, and he lives with his father, a fortune teller. One winter night in the late 1960s, he was completely orphaned, and news suddenly came from his mother whom he had never met. It remains intact in the catastrophic years, but quietly separates in the changing times. "Looking at the Spring Breeze" depicts the complex process of the gradual evolution of the hometown village. Through the changes in personal destiny, family and village, it describes the historical movement of the Jiangnan countryside for more than half a century, and shows its possible future.

It's a very interesting story about the simple and unpretentious countryside during China's land reform period★
The human heart is like a lily. It has as many branches as there are petals. If you open it petal by petal, it turns out there is a core hidden inside. The human heart is unpredictable, that's what it means. It is easy for a person to see through life and death. After all, life and death are not decided by people, but one must truly see through fame and fortune. Letting go of desire is difficult.
A good book worth recommending!
I only read about Father, who asked for money later, and the details were well described.
Even if we see the spring breeze, the fields are already deserted.
I feel like not many people know this book
Times change, things change and people change, and we move toward death step by step under the urging of time. But those people and those things, no matter they were once glorious or lonely, are ultimately just a handful of loess. The plot of the novel is very delicate, like an old man who has experienced vicissitudes looking back on his life. What this book conveys to us may be what we are looking for! !
That misty Jiangnan that everyone calls, the Ruli Zhao Village that the author delicately describes, the time passing by will never be forgotten or retained.
Although I was asked to read it, I still read it carefully. The people in this village made me feel the changes of the times.
In life, as long as you are happy and healthy, there are no obstacles that you cannot overcome.
I just finished reading it. I don't usually read books. I occasionally feel that I should get into the habit of reading. I encountered this book by fate. It is the first book in a long time. It is a faint memory and a slow narration. Those distant and lively hometown villages that have become ruins say that memories are beautiful and arouse my own memories. The sweetness can be exuded from the lines. After a while, my whole life has passed like this. When I look up at the current world, my current life also seems sad and helpless as the article ends. People are like ants. In front of the big bulldozer of the times, you have to leave even if you don't want to. . . .
