Sorry, I forced myself to read a few chapters and really couldn't stand it. Maybe the style of this book is not my favorite type.
The writing style is a bit stiff, and it does not like to exaggerate the environment and describe clothing like some ancient Chinese writers. But the plot is quite attractive, and Wang Xuan is in charge of the comedy at the beginning. It's a pity that many people have tragic endings, including the seemingly tough female doctor Wu in the introduction, and Xiao Wang, who thought he was a comedy character... This is the real joys and sorrows of the late Tang Dynasty...
