The writing is so good, it feels like personal experience. Dark clouds and crows symbolize darkness and uncertainty. Lin Meng is the kind of person who has been hurt to the point of losing his emotions and has no hope for life. She knew that her mother favored her younger brother, and she had to save money even if she didn't enroll her in a supplementary class. Her mother would buy a house for her younger brother until she died, and watched her die with her own eyes. She also knew that her friends and classmates were like floating clouds, like a group of people with no IQ who were used as gun handles. Lin Meng is also someone who would sacrifice his life for the people he considers important.
