About This Novel

Plot synopsis As we all know, in historical novels and other literary and artistic works, Pan Mei (Pan Renmei) of the Song Dynasty is described as a treacherous minister who collaborated with foreign countries to frame the generals of the Yang family. This has led to many generations of conflicts between the two surnames Pan and Yang, who are ancestors of the family. They are hostile to each other and do not intermarry. Zhao Laoneng's two daughters-in-law happen to be named Pan and Yang, both of whom are very capable. It was the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrating his birthday. Mr. Zhao praised his two daughters-in-law for their abilities and used the female generals of the Yang family as a metaphor, which caused a quarrel between Pan Xiulan and Yang Lijuan. The two had a fierce conflict over the old grudges of the Pan and Yang families, and involved their parents-in-law, creating a huge family turmoil. After some twists and turns, the Pan and Yang families were able to clear their heads, change their minds, and realize that the Chinese people are all descendants of the Yan and Huang people, and that the descendants of the dragon have the same root. If they are entangled in the old grudges left by history and hate each other, it will inevitably cause serious harm to the family, society and the country. Only by respecting each other, uniting and loving each other can we achieve family harmony, social harmony, and national unity, and can we work together to realize the dream of revitalizing China!
