"Green Slips" is set in Jinling during the Republic of China. It tells the story of ancient book restorer Lin Xia, who is involved in a "Green Slips" secret that spans twenty years in order to find his missing sister Lin Qiu. Books arriving on a rainy night from "Mohenzhai", an ancient bookstore in the south of the city, led to a warning left by my sister - "leave Jinling quickly, they are looking for the 'Green Slips'".
