"The Wind Rises" is the original novel of the animated film that Hayao Miyazaki spent five years creating. It is also his tribute to the writer Tatsuo Hori, whom he admires very much. The male protagonist accompanies his fiancée Setsuko who is seriously ill, and goes to the mountains to recuperate and spend the last period of Setsuko's life together. In the isolated Yatsugatake foothills, abandoning the hustle and bustle of the world, only each other remained in their lives. Love becomes more profound in this beautiful scene.
