When I first wrote this book, I just wanted to change Wu Zhangkong's ending. I couldn't bear to see the beautiful man frozen in the ice alone. Change his wife? No, just give him a daughter. Later... I fell in love with CP as I was writing. In the original novel, I always felt that Yuan En didn't seem to love Xie Xie as much as Xie Xie loved her, so I boldly changed him to CP.
