About This Novel

In 2009, Shen Xingxing was forced to set foot on the land of the Golden Triangle and became a truck driver delivering counterfeit goods to drug dealers. For 397 days, he lived with drug dealers, gamblers, and the Burmese underworld. Before this, he had never thought that the real world was so bad. Street vendors make soup from poppy shells, drug addicts lie on the roadside covered with needles, and monkey brains, bear blood, and tiger meat are bloody delicacies. After he witnessed his friend being shot in the head by an extremist, and his boss slitting his subordinate's throat in public, and a series of events that seemed like a lifetime ago, Shen Xingxing decided to flee back to China overnight and surrender, and assisted the police in cracking down on the drug trafficking chain that had been entrenched in the mountains for many years. He recorded the people and things he experienced in the Golden Triangle in the following story. All the contents of this book come from the author Shen Xingxing's real experiences in the Golden Triangle area from March 2009 to April 18, 2010.

Five-star praise (՞ਊ՞)👍A documentary about group portraits that is a complete torture drama version

In just twelve chapters, each chapter and story can have an immersive trembling and explosion feeling. Except for the last chapter, which talks about the protagonist's hesitation and hesitation in escaping from Phnom Penh Slope and the twists and turns of surrendering when he returns home to avoid revenge. Each of the first eleven chapters is written about one or several characters in the den of pornography, gambling and drug addiction, and their endings are filled with horror, awe, and misery. The drama version is too conservative, and many characters are different from those in the drama version. Personally, I think the most explosive one is Dantuo. In the original novel, Dan Tuo was happily attending a team dinner, but his throat was slit without warning by Uncle Guai as he was going around the place to toast. Just because he secretly exchanged fake goods for real ones when making purchases, he did not survive more than two paragraphs. But in the drama version, Brother Tuozi is impulsive and righteous, treating the protagonist as his own brother, and finally sacrifices himself for Dabon, but Uncle Guai reluctantly cuts his throat in front of the drug dealer. But in the end, Uncle Guai killed all the drug dealers as planned to avenge him. There is also a lame old man who has been a soldier for most of his life but was not treated well by the local army and drug dealers, causing the death of his wife and children. When he is old, he likes to shoot guns and eat white rice... In order to find their son, the young couple traveled thousands of miles from home to abroad, worked as beggars, human traffickers, and drug dealers, and eventually became addicted to drugs and sold themselves to death... The beautiful sister who wants to have an affair with the protagonist but is rejected but still has deep love for her... Justin, a passionate and simple volunteer who was actually shot in the head by a drug dealer and sank to the bottom of the river... The writing style of this book is that of a grassroots diary, but it is shocking to read. It is recommended to spend a few hours to see it. You can really have a wonderful trip abroad without leaving home, and see the mountains and rivers and people's hearts.

The book is very short, with only twelve chapters. Personally, I don't think it's too exciting. Instead, it has a documentary style, but the book is more real and cruel than the online drama. The web drama is very exciting and enjoyable to watch, that's because it has been adapted and dramatized, and the acting skills of several actors are also online. I have played the role of Shen Xing in domestic entertainment, and I think there is no one more suitable than Guo Qilin. He is born with good luck and is also a blessed person, so he is closer to the prototype in the book. An unlucky person would have died long ago in that environment.

Common problems with film and television

It is to add a golden finger to the protagonist, infinitely magnify desire, power, and money, so that the audience can regard the darkest aspects such as desire, anger, and so on as family affection, emotion, and morality. Instead, the reader is immersed in the refreshing article and cannot extricate himself, but forgets the cruelty of the real world. After re-reading the novel, you will find that Jin Bianpo does not believe that anyone can survive to the end. For Mr. Cai, Shen Xing is just a walk-on. His status is not higher than any of his brothers, and it is even less likely to be an excuse for him to give up his interests. He is just a person who can drink, chat and even take orders at any time. Movies and TV shows don't show the fierceness of Mr. Guai.

I watched several clips from the TV series of the same name and searched for them specifically. The whole novel does not have any gorgeous words, but it is plain and simple, which allows ordinary people like me to better understand the protagonist's state of mind when reading it It has the flavor of a crime novel from a few years ago.

After watching it, I still feel so dreamy. But this is really real. I have watched the original work after watching the TV series. Woohoo, it looks so good, so dreamy. It feels... I still want to know a lot more.

It is completely unimaginable that this could be a true story that happened in the world. It is thrilling and terrifying, as terrible as hell on earth. Compared with the people struggling to make a living in Phnom Penh, Myanmar, we are much happier living in China. A sentence that impressed me deeply: For people living in Phnom Penh Slope, as long as there are no gunshots in the morning and no dead people at night, it is a paradise.

A literary work that feels very real and cruel

After watching life in the Golden Triangle, I suddenly felt that overtime is not a big problem. Human nature is good, but that place has become like a cursed land. The birth of the poppy has turned that place into a hell.

I came from the TV series. The TV series is adapted well and has its own style. The original work is more attractive.

Probably what I want to express is to tell people who have read this book to live as happily as possible. After all, many people in this world have a hard time even living. Moreover, when you come to the end of your life, others will only remember you with a few lines. Q2. If the person who went to Phnom Penh was his current age at that time
