I think the overall concept of this book is very good, the sections are eye-catching, and the ending is relatively novel. In the middle part, when everyone the heroine cares about left her, I almost cried and found it very sad. In fact, before I read it, I thought it was another story where the female protagonist survived the many palace battles and won to the end with the male protagonist. But it turned out not to be like this. The male protagonist's ending was so tragic, almost betraying everyone, but it seems reasonable when I think about it. After all, the male protagonist has almost completely turned into a black man. But why did most of these people die in the end? Many of them committed suicide. Concubine Wei Ning jumped off the building, Yun Heng clashed with his sword, the queen and Xihua committed suicide, Han Yue died, Cang Lan disappeared, the male protagonist also died, and was killed by Yun Heng. In the end, only the female protagonist and the second male lead were left, but they would not live long, and the ending was miserable. Maybe after they are dead, they can be dubbed, and the whole play will end. But some parts in the middle feel unclear, such as the identity of the master who gave the heroine the pills and what happened to him in the end, whether Ah Fu knew that the heroine was the daughter of her original benefactor, etc. Maybe I didn't get the author's point, but overall it's still very good!
