Electric Soul (part 2)
by Miss Cynic
About This Novel
"Sometimes, I feel like you and I are in two different worlds." "What do you mean?" "You often talk to things I can't see, as if you are talking to yourself, but are you communicating... With whom?" Natasha did not answer, just stared at the fragrant coffee in front of her, at the white foam floating on it, and a small vortex. She didn't want to drink coffee at the moment, she just wanted to light a cigarette, but Gulian didn't like the taste of cigarettes, so she hadn't smoked since leaving Eastern Europe. "Why do you ask this?" After a long silence, Natasha finally spoke with difficulty. "I don't know either... I just feel that if I had known you better, I might not be here today..." Gulian hesitated to speak, and kept picking at the shoulder strap of her leather bag with her hands. It was obvious that she, like Natasha, was in a dilemma.
