About This Novel

This book selects 11 classic short stories by Liu Cixin. Seven of these 11 works won the China Science Fiction Galaxy Award. This product can be described as the "most brilliant galaxy". It was these 11 wonderful works that laid the foundation for the birth of "Three-Body Problem". These works, like a group of bright stars, illuminated the eve of "Three-Body Problem". Without the "thick accumulation" of these 11 works, there would be no "thin hair" of "The Three-Body Problem". These 11 works are grand and imaginative. They not only pay attention to the combination of extreme ethereal and heavy reality, but also pay attention to scientific connotation and humanistic beauty. They have strong Chinese characteristics and distinctive personal style, and have established a new height for Chinese science fiction.

supernova era

I originally saw this book here. I liked it so much that I bought the physical version later. The one here is physically different. The one here can only be regarded as an excerpt. It skips the stage of great learning and what happens after the death of adults. I think the big learning stage and the departure of the adults are the saddest period. The children had to grow up to be independent people in just a few months. The adults had to leave the children and find a desolate corner to wait for death... What the children did later made me shocked and disappointed? Sad? I can't explain it clearly, it's a very complicated feeling. I really think this is a good book.

Science has replaced superstition, technology has replaced witchcraft, science fiction has replaced myth, scientists have replaced alchemists and real people, and science fiction writers have replaced missionaries.

romantic color

Many stories have a core technology. Liu Da describes a grand scene around this technology, and at the same time integrates human emotions into it, which is full of romanticism!

This is far more than science fiction and more touching to the soul.

Come on, Liu!

It's a pity that the Hugo Award myth was not continued. But being shortlisted again has proven its strength. Whether the work is good or not is obvious to all, and Liu's contribution to Chinese science fiction is indelible. Always support Liu! Looking forward to new works.
