"The Missing" is Kafka's first novel. It tells the story of the protagonist Karl who was seduced by a middle-aged maid at the age of 16 and gave birth to a child with her. His father angrily kicked him out of the house. He wandered to the United States alone and became a master with the help of his rich uncle. However, he went against his uncle's wishes and associated with the "bad guys". He had a fierce relationship with two tramps and became someone else's servant and an errand boy in a brothel. The novel is full of comedy and makes people laugh. "Proceedings" is the author's earliest known novel. It exposes the judicial insiders of the dark society and the corrupt bureaucracy: Bank assistant K is an upright, diligent and capable man, but he was suddenly arrested on his 30th birthday. He felt that the matter was absurd and It's also funny.
