There Are Roads to Build Mountains
About This Novel
Xue Mu was born with the fate of a general's arrow, and it was extremely difficult for him to live past the age of 3, 6, 9, or 12 years old. With the help of his father-in-law, Taoist Xue, his parents sacrificed their lives for disaster and died young. Xue Mu followed Taoist Xue from the Three Gorges region from infancy and joined a small village with beautiful scenery deep in the mountains as a grandson. He learned ancient scriptures and Taoism as well as practical traditional martial arts from an early age. Before his death, Taoist Xue revealed his identity as a monk. He felt deeply guilty that he had practiced Taoism all his life. He told Xue Mu to return the inheritance of Chinese martial arts to each inheritor in the future, and to serve the country as much as possible but not to disturb mortals, which was against the law of heaven. Later, because he insulted a foreign boxing champion in traditional Chinese martial arts, he met Liu Tiancheng from the national security department and became a close friend. When he assisted Liu Tiancheng in recovering the stolen Siyang Fang Zun, he was sucked into the Yuanling Star Territory. He found his fellow tribesmen who were in dire straits and worked hard for the rise of the human race. Later, he gave up his enlightenment and left in a carefree manner to secure living conditions for his tribe.
