About This Novel
In a continent of magic and knights that we are not familiar with, a group of ordinary young mercenaries were involved in the three major forces by the rolling tide of history. When Amy established the small mercenary group, she divided them into four major professions: Great Swordsman, Blocking Swordsman, Demon Swordsman, and Wild Eagle Swordsman. Swordsmen have always been unpopular in the army. So, why did Amy divide them like this? What is the basis? Although Amy is good at wielding two-handed swords and is a magic swordsman, and Xilin Island happens to be a specialty of mad eagles, why did Da Qingshan, Chi Aotian, Horns and others not raise any objection to using swordsmen as the foundation of the small mercenary group?

First of all, this is a book written ten years ago. It was still many years ago when it was a paper book, and I don't know how many teenagers still read it with gusto. In 2007, when I was a junior high school student, I bought a copy of Mercenary World for 23 yuan on the street. Now that I think about it, it might be a pirated copy. This is the first fantasy novel in my life, and it was also the biggest disappointment of the year. The book was not finished printing at that time. What impressed me the most was the last sentence of the last page of the book, "It's difficult, not the least bit difficult." For many years afterwards, I always thought it was an open ending. I thought the orcs retreated, I thought Amy became the mercenary king, and finally recovered Ying. I thought Da Qingshan and Sha Ruo were happily together, I thought Lin Yushang had found someone who loved her, and I thought Chi Hanfeng was living well in the world of death. I didn't expect that the book was not finished, and I didn't expect that it would end like this. In the past few years, I have experienced too many things, and while pursuing the perfect ending in life countless times, I have been unsatisfied time and time again. If I could have seen the ending back then, I would know that life is sometimes not perfect, and I might not have so many regrets now. In any case, this book is the most unique among fantasy novels. The wording may not be so gorgeous, but the description of each character, his personality, habits, and life are extremely deeply rooted in people's hearts. Perhaps this is the greatest charm of this book.

Unexpectedly, I finally waited for this book to be on the shelves. It can be said that this is the first novel I have read. I used to search the web on my tablet phone and save bookmarks when I saw it, for fear that I would not find it next time. The first time I saw this book, I was attracted by the Western magical style in it. I was stunned. When I finished reading it, I thought, if this book can be made into a movie, it will definitely be as good as the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series. If it is made into a TV series, it will be comparable to A Song of Ice and Fire. I really hope that one day this book will be discovered and a Chinese fantasy masterpiece will be made.
It has been more than ten years since I read this masterpiece again.

This book really should be made into a movie or TV series, maybe it's really no worse than the Lord of the Rings series
I have read this book five or six times. The first time was in 2000, and this time I finished reading it on December 30, 2021. I really shed tears every time I read it. The death of Chi Hanfeng and the death of Da Qingshan always touch me. I really want to see this book made into a movie or TV series. Maybe I was born at the wrong time. In those few years, super ip had not started yet. Otherwise, it might really become a book that is not inferior to the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
It is said to be the masterpiece that led to the platform hegemony back then!
A buried masterpiece! (It was blocked due to some reasons) It tells the story of a young mercenary's growth (funny) and rapid transformation (sad and realistic). Recommended to everyone (this article is not a fast food article), the previous article may be a bit boring, please stick to seeing Chi Hanfeng appear. If the writing and plot are not good, I can't support them all for free~
This masterpiece is not shortlisted for the "War of the Gods" from Qidian, so I think this selection is not very objective.

This classic is not to be missed ~ Qingshan
A classic fantasy that must be read. Although it seems boring now, it was a classic at first.
The world of mercenaries has created a new and comprehensive continent in front of us. After reading a book, a complete map seemed to be slowly unfolding in front of me of that world, where everyone is alive with flesh and blood. We seem to be living with the characters in the book. We are happy because of their laughter and sad because of their misfortune. There are several times where I burst into tears uncontrollably, and there are many times when I laugh so much that my stomach hurts. This is something that no other novel can give me.
