About This Novel
In 1946, Harbin was the first big city liberated by our party in China. The war in North Manchuria is not clear yet, and the remaining hostile forces in the rear such as the Kuomintang, puppet Manchukuo, and bandits are still ready to move. Amid numerous crises, our party's public security fighters faced murderous threats at every step, launched a "dawn decisive battle" with hostile forces, defended the revolutionary achievements with blood, and managed this devastated city in order. The people finally saw the dawn and were able to live and work in peace and contentment. But the forces of darkness are brewing a counterattack, trying to stifle this glimmer of light... He is the director of the Harbin Public Security Bureau appointed by our party, and she is the top commander of the military in Harbin. In order to fight for the large amount of arms left by the Japanese Kwantung Army, the former close lovers are now facing different life and death paths. It seems like a black-and-white showdown, but it is a heart-wrenching and desperate battle!
