About This Novel
Main plot: The Tathagata saw that the Tang Dynasty in the East had prosperous culture but no Buddhist teachings. He ordered Jin Chanzi to lead his disciples to carry scriptures and preach eastward. After 81 difficulties, they arrived in Chang'an and finally completed the spread of Buddhist teachings eastward.
