The pastoral poems of the Qing Dynasty were numerous in number, rich in content, and innovative in artistic form. This book is the first systematic study of pastoral poetry in the Qing Dynasty. The author divides the creation of pastoral poetry in the Qing Dynasty into four periods: the early Qing Dynasty, Qianjia, Daoxiantong and Guangxuan Dynasties, showing the overall picture and development of pastoral poetry in the Qing Dynasty, and then connecting the rural characteristics of the Qing Dynasty to explore the cultural connotation of pastoral poetry in the Qing Dynasty. He also analyzes the pastoral poetry in the Qing Dynasty's Five Ancient Style Pastoral Poetry, Qijue Style Pastoral Poetry, and "New Yuefu" Style Pastoral Poetry, showing the artistic characteristics of the Qing Dynasty pastoral poetry.
