by H
About This Novel
As the first in a series of works, it tells the history of Rome during the five hundred years from its founding to the First and Second Punic Wars. It's a story over a long period of suffering, and even in its heyday it was often a step forward and a half step back. The important reason why Rome was able to achieve great success was basically germinated during these five hundred years. Just as a person begins to understand the true value of the strength he accumulated in his teenage years until he is thirty years old.

Other countries in our world may need to learn from the systems implemented by the Roman Empire and its own characteristics, but some of them doubt that the roads of the Roman Empire can be used for thousands of years, while China can only buy a ticket to see it, which has no significance for current use. In fact, in my opinion, this statement is not comprehensive. Every country has its own or unique things, and it cannot be concluded one-sidedly. The above only represents my personal views.

ask
I would like to ask if anyone has bought this book on Kindle. How was the reading experience? For example, are there pictures displayed and are they clear? E-books are a bit hard on the eyes. If the Kindle reading experience is not good, I will choose to buy a physical book. Thanks for the answer.
After reading Wang Shi's preface, you will know that this guy is not upright. Don't forget, Rome was a slave system, and the so-called citizens only accounted for a small part of the population. The Qin State not only connected the Great Wall of the northern countries, but also built Chidao. Otherwise, how could the system of prefectures and counties be implemented? They lack understanding of their own country's history and blindly worship foreign countries.
a book worth reading
Being able to understand the development of ancient Rome, openness and tolerance made Rome successful!
